Giving Back: Damage Control Volunteers with CHOP Out Hunger

At Damage Control Inc., being part of the community means more than just the work we do in homes and businesses — it also means showing up and lending a hand where it matters most.

Recently, members of our team spent the morning volunteering with CHOP Out Hunger, an incredible local organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity and supporting families throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

During our time there, the Damage Control crew worked alongside CHOP Out Hunger volunteers to help prepare resources that directly support children and families in our community. Together, the team packed more than 700 Weekend Backpack Bags, which help ensure local students have access to food when they’re away from school over the weekend. Volunteers also helped prepare In-School Pantry bins and tackled a mountain of cardboard to keep operations running smoothly.

It was a busy and rewarding morning, and our team was grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an important mission. Organizations like CHOP Out Hunger play a vital role in supporting families and making sure children have the nutrition they need to thrive.

Community partnerships like these remind us that small acts of service can make a big difference. We’re proud to support the work being done and thankful for the chance to help.
